How should I store my Henckels knives?

Magnetic strips are one of the best places to store Henckels knives. If you bought your Henckels knives with a knife block you should house them there. However, if you did not get a block you should invest in a magnetic strip. This will keep them out of reach of children ut within your reach while you are in the kitchen.

Is it possible to speak with someone about the care of Henckle knives? I have a wood block–can I store the knivew with the blade up or must they be stored with the blade down? Also can I use a knife sharpener on them–the kind where the knife is pulled through? Or is this not good for them?

It depends on which line of Henckels knives you have. If they’re the Twin Cermax, Pro S, Twin Select, 4 Star II, or Twin Cuisine line, store them on a wooden magnetic strip. A wooden block is the next best thing, as long as the slots are horizontal, not vertical.
If you have any of the other Henckels lines (such as the cheap knives sold under the “Henkels International” brand), store them in your garbage can and get yourself some proper knives.
